Executive Women in Product — Office Hours
After a long and successful career in Product Management, I now focus on coaching for PMs and PM Leaders. You can learn more about me and what I do elsewhere on this site.
Since setting up my coaching practice in 2020 I’ve worked with many members of the Executive Women in Product group, helping with ongoing challenges in their roles, career planning to figure out what could be next, and 1:1 interview coaching for those in the market for new opportunities.
To give back to the Group, I’m going to host a regular ‘office hours’ session where members can bring their topics. These can be anything related to thriving and growing as a Product Leader, including but not limited to:
handling a problem at work;
navigating your career;
interview preparation.
The sessions will be a group discussion on Google Meet and everyone is encouraged to contribute at whatever level they are comfortable with (including just listening in).
Please submit your topics in advance via this form — I will get in touch to let you know when your topic’s been scheduled. We’ll aim to cover several subjects each time. As I figure out the best way to encourage engagement, it’s also fine to be a “walk-in” and bring your topics live on the day.
Upcoming sessions (it’s bi-weekly)
Thursday May 16th 1:00-1:45pm PT (Google Meet link / add to Calendar)
Wednesday May 29th 3:30-4:15pm PT (Google Meet link / add to Calendar)
I understand that carving out time can be challenging, so I’m open to suggestions on better times to make it easy for people to join.
Feedback from senior female leaders I have coached…
"I initially reached out to Robert thinking I would book 1-2 sessions for interview prep. I found his coaching so useful that I continued booking sessions after I landed my dream job. His perspective on how the challenges I am facing have been tackled at top tech companies has been incredibly insightful. I highly recommend Robert's coaching to anyone in tech looking to accelerate their learning."
“Your interview prep was so helpful and outside interviews it’s also made a world of difference in how I look at all Product Manager problems - it’s just made me so much more polished and professional. I am loving my craft again and just so appreciative of your time and care - it’s the best professional investment for myself I have ever made.”
"Through my work with Robert, I've been able to view challenges and opportunities more objectively, and this has given me an edge against my peers. In addition to enabling noticeable improvement in my efficacy day to day, Robert has been a true thought partner when it comes to my career more broadly, holding me accountable for setting and tracking towards longer term goals. I highly recommend him."
